We are a local charitable organization  that brings Jazz in its traditional and more modern  forms to suburban Maryland and DC.  Every June we host an  all-day jazz festival on the streets of Takoma Park, Maryland. The Fest has two stages, with music featuring local and nationally known performers, food and art/craft vendors. This is a FREE family event which is held rain or shine.  We also host  the Jazz Brawl every February.  The Brawl is a contest between up-and-coming local bands that compete for a chance to play at the Fest in June.  Catch Takoma JazzFest  performances on Montgomery County Cable.  See your cable listings for Channel number for Takoma Park TV.  NOW SHOWING 2011 JAZZFEST
